5. Scope of Inspection Services

Our inspections are visual, non-invasive inspections of accessible areas of the property at the time of the inspection.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, inspections:

  • Do not involve destructive testing

  • Do not include specialist testing (e.g. gas, electrical certification, drainage surveys)

  • Are not a guarantee or warranty of the property

Inspection findings reflect the condition of the property on the day of inspection only.

 

6. Inspection Reports

Following an inspection, we will provide a written inspection report, usually in digital format.

Inspection reports:

  • Are prepared solely for the named client

  • Relate only to the inspected property

  • Must not be relied upon by third parties without our written consent

Reports identify visible defects and issues but may not identify concealed or future defects.

 

7. New-Build and Snagging Inspections

For new-build properties, inspections are intended to highlight workmanship issues and visible defects at the time of inspection.

We do not:

  • Supervise building works

  • Approve construction methods

  • Certify compliance with building regulations or warranties

Responsibility for rectifying defects remains with the builder or developer.

 

8. Fees and Payment

Prices for services are displayed on the Website or confirmed at the time of booking.

Payment terms:

  • Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed

  • Online payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers

  • We do not store payment card details

All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable.

 

9. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellation terms:

  • Cancellations made more than [e.g. 48] hours before the inspection may be eligible for a refund or reschedule

  • Late cancellations or failure to provide access may result in a charge

Any refunds are issued at our discretion, in line with consumer law.
